Cyclone: Denim Dyed With Zero Fresh Water
Dyeing is one of the most water-intensive stages of making denim. Cyclone is our answer: a dyeing process that uses 0% fresh water.
Cyclone combines our Cactus method — which saves 70% of the water used across the entire denim production process — with recycled water from our effluent treatment plant for the remaining 30%.
It builds on a wider shift across our mill: recycled ETP water now makes up 42% of the water used in production, and we are working toward cutting groundwater use by 90% by 2030.
Cyclone is available across a range of qualities. Contact our team to request samples.
